The Meade Travel View 10x25 Mini Folding Roof Prism Binocular is the perfect entry or beginner level binocular. The sheer versatility of these binoculars is amazing. I received mine as a gift and love them. I can sit in my easy chair in my living room and watch the hummingbirds at my hummingbird feeder outside my living room window a mere 9 or 10 feet away. The view is crisp clear and very good even at dusk with diminishing light. I also take these binoculars to the canal and bird/nature watch there, everything up to 1000+ yards is made easily viewable regardless of lighting conditions. These binoculars are even good for gazing at the moon. Simply the best starter binoculars for anyone looking for an economical yet effective way to enhance hobby viewing. These binoculars are simple, no bells or whistles yet they have everything they need in features and construction to make for a lifetime of great viewing. Very durable and rigid construction make for binoculars you'll want to take everywhere and can due to it's compact size! The soft rubber grips assure a good handle on things and the light weight mean you can hold these for hours easily. The field of view is quite good and the focus dial set in the middle rotates smoothly with either hand. Great all purpose binocular for the nature or sports lover on a budget.
